Santa has arrived in Willington with his elves, ready to meet hundreds of children who can visit his grotto over the next few weeks.
Our festive friend arrived at Frosts Garden Centre in style, travelling in a horse-drawn sleigh during a snow-covered parade, and welcomed by crowds of visitors.
Santa took up residence in his magical grotto on Saturday, November 14, marking the start of festive fun at the centre, including a real ice rink, seasonal food, gifts and wonderful decorations.
The cheery visitor has already met many children - the popular, family experience is a great way to visit Santa in his festive wonderland, meet his elves and enjoy some Christmas crafts too.
Santa will be at the grotto at Frosts until Christmas Eve when he must leave very quickly – some days are already sold out. Tickets are £9.99 for a child and £4.49 for an adult.
Frosts’ real ice skating rink will be open from Saturday, November 28, until Sunday, January 3. Tickets are £8.99 for adults and £7.99 for children, or £14.99 for one adult and one toddler under four.
There are skating evenings lined up from Monday, November 30 until Friday, December 18, with a Disco on Ice on Friday, December 18, plus a New Year’s Day skate.
