Road closed after man collapses in street

49-year-old died at Bedford Hospital

A man died after collapsing in Bromham Road last night.

The man, who was aged 49, was taken ill at around 8.30pm on Monday night.

An ambulance was called to the scene and transfered the man to South Wing Hospital where he later died.

At 8.38pm police closed off the junction connecting Bromham Road and Ashburnham Road at the roundabout.

Police confirmed that the death is not being treated as suspicious.
