Bedford garden buildings company Dunster House, based at Elms Farm, have stepped in to help TV’s Love Your Garden team again.

The team designed a vintage themed garden for an elderly couple of ladies in, aged 91 and 86,

Enid and Roberta, fondly known as Robbie, have been friends for 71 years, but a slope in their garden left them confined to their bungalow.

The two pensioners have fond memories of their days on Bournemouth Pier and founding the Kenn Dodd fan club, so the Love Your Garden team designed a vintage theme to bring back fond memories of their youth.

The team contacted Dunster House after seeing their Vantage Revolving Summerhouse and wanted to give the pair a place to sit and enjoy their garden. The Vantage Revolving Summerhouse allows Enid and Robbie to sit and relax, easily changing their view by simply turning the summerhouse and locking it into place.

Andy Murphy, managing director of Dunster House, watched the episode and was impressed. He said: “We love working with Love Your Garden and its deserving people like Enid and Robbie that make it truly worthwhile.”
