A meeting is being held this week to help Bedford residents affected by the ‘bedroom tax’.

The event is being held in Goldington and all are welcome.

Labour Parliamentary Candidate Patrick Hall, together with Mayoral Candidate Penny Fletcher and council candidates Jade Uko and Anthony Forth, have organised the residents’ meeting at Church Lane Community Centre, Goldington on Wednesday, March 26 from 2pm until 3pm.

Patrick said: “This will be to let people suffering from the ‘bedroom tax’ talk about their experiences and to support each other in opposing this harsh Government policy.

“The Labour team is keen to hear directly from people so that we are better able to help.”

Refreshments will be available and children are welcome.
