Police probe unexplained death

Bedford man found dead at home by family member

The death of a man who was found at his home by a family member is being treated as suspicious by police.

Officers were called to the 36-year-old man's house in Barkers Lane at around 10pm on Sunday.

A forensic post-mortem carried out on Tuesday found the man died of a knife wound, but could not establish how it was inflicted.

Police cordoned off the house and scenes of crime officers are continuing their investigations.
