Police are appealing for witnesses to an indecent exposure on a bus travelling through Bedford.

The incident took place in Bedford on Wednesday, April 1 between 7.45pm and 8pm.

The female victim was with friends travelling on the number 9 Stagecoach bus from Bedford to Shortstown, when a man indecently exposed himself before getting off the bus in Harrowden Road.

The offender is described as being of Asian appearance and wearing navy shorts with a blue top and green hooded sweater, with white trainers and white socks.

PC Deanna Waite, investigating, said: “This offender indecently exposed himself on public transport in a busy area and it is likely he will have been seen by others.

“I would urge anyone who was travelling on this bus at the same time or believes they have seen this man to contact me immediately.”
