Police hunt arsonists who torched car in Flitwick

Police are looking for witnesses who may have seen someone set fire to a white Vauxhall Meriva at about 3.53am on the morning of Saturday 20 September in the car park of Jewson’s, Flitwick.

Gary Maxey, investigating, said: “Just before 4am in the early morning of Saturday 20 September an unknown person or persons have set fire to this white Vauxhall Meriva parked in the car park of Jewson’s on the Maulden Road, Flitwick.

“We would like to hear from anyone who might have been driving past this area at this time and might have seen anyone acting suspiciously or any vehicles coming or going either on the industrial estate or along the Maulden Road.”
