Police are appealing for help to trace a teenage boy who has not been seen since Monday, January 5.

Dawit Sisay, 17, is of Eritrean origin and left his shared accommodation in Bedford that day and has not been seen since.

Dawit has not taken any clothing with him, is not known to have any money, nor a mobile phone, does not know anyone in the UK and does not speak any English.

Dawit has said that he has scarring on his right leg, from buttock to knee, from a childhood burn.

Dawit is described as approximately 5’7” tall with curly collar length black hair, brown eyes and of Asian appearance.

Dawit is not in any trouble but Bedfordshire Police are keen to trace him to check

on his welfare.
