The Chequers pub in Westoning showcased home grown talent for the second year during an annual arts exhibition.

Over the weekend the country pub and courtyard played host to the event, displaying impressive works of art by Westoning’s very own Stuart Adams, pictured, Debbie Imeson and Ken Mayo.

Philip Kelly, owner of The Chequers, said; “It’s great that a small village like Westoning has such an impressive talent pool. Stuart, Debbie and Ken all have great skill and different styles which makes for a varied collection. Poet Paul Scrivener was also on hand to deliver poetry recitals and sell signed copies of his books, and proceeds were donated to the pub’s nominated charity Families United Network (FUN), based in Luton.
