For every cup of coffee sold across the group’s pubs and hotels, a tree has been planted, helping to offset some of the daily carbon emissions produced by the business.

Tree-nation is a not-for-profit organisation that helps support communities, create jobs, and protect biodiversity through reforestation and conservation projects worldwide. Oakman's Cup of Coffee campaign helps its tree-planting projects in Madagascar and Tanzania flourish.

The Woburn was one of the top four of the group’s pubs which contributed the greatest number of trees through their daily coffee sales.

Chairman Peter Borg-Neal said: “We couldn’t have achieved our first year’s target without the support of our guests.”
