Mecca Bingo Bedford unveils Christmas appeal to help homeless this winter

The team at Mecca Bingo Bedford has launched its Christmas appeal, to help those who may be struggling this winter.

Called Everyone Deserves a Christmas, the Bedford club is raising money for Real Change Bedford, a project which supports those struggling with poverty and homelessness in the town.

The club, in London Road, is encouraging its customers and businesses to donate food and drink which will remain fresh throughout the Christmas period and unopened toiletries, as well as money.

Ben Broadbent, general manager at Mecca Bedford, said: “We’re delighted to be launching Mecca’s Everyone Deserves a Christmas campaign and to be bringing a little festive cheer to those most in need.

"It’s been a year unlike any other, so we’re thrilled to continue to give something back to our community and will be incredibly grateful for any donations our loyal customers and supportive locals are able to make.”
