A children’s open day is being held at Hula Animal Rescue where visitors can meet residents on the farm.

There will be a police dog demonstration at the event on Sunday, July 10, held at Glebe Farm, Salford Road, Aspley Guise.

Other attractions include a parade of Hula dogs at 2.30pm, a doggie temptation alley, face-painting, fun and games for the children, with the parade at 2.30pm.

There is a shop at the charity’s farm, bargains for pets, and refreshments on sale in the Trough Cafe.

The open day runs from 1pm until 4pm. Admission is £2 for adults with children admitted free. Dogs welcome too. All proceeds help the car and welfare of Hula animals. Call 01908 584000 and visit www.hularescue.org
