The popular Mum2mum Markets in Bedford are moving to a bigger venue following its early success.
Parents sell their children’s outgrown clothes, toys, books and equipment to other mums and dads and keep 100 per cent of the profits at the sales, previously been held at St Cuthbert’s Hall and Brickhill Community Centre.
From September the sales will be held at Goldington Academy to accommodate more buyers and sellers.
Owner Sam Hubbard said: “We began holding sales in Bedford in April and have been blown away with the response. We’ve welcomed hundreds of buyers and had quite a few return sellers at the events. We need more space so we don’t have to turn sellers away.
“Moving to Goldington Academy will do just that, we can get more sellers in and offer our buyers even more choice.”
Sam added: “With Mum2mum Market everyone’s a winner. Buyers can source great quality secondhand goods at a fraction of the high street price and sellers keep 100 per cent of their profits.
“There are serious savings to be made by buying secondhand. With large items like designer prams selling for around a third of the new price and baby and children's clothes from just 50p, parents can save hundreds of pounds.”
Mum2Mum Market will be at Goldington Academy on Saturday, September 3, from 1.30pm until 3.30pm.
Admission is £2 on the door, children admitted free, with free admission after 3pm. To book a nearly new stall at this sale, go online to www.bit.ly/goldington
