Murder case is adjourned for six weeks at crown court

The case of a man accused of murder has been adjourned for six weeks.

Ian Brunner, 48, of Byron Crescent, Bedford, was charged with murder following the death of 39-year-old bachelor John-Mark Duffy in January.

A post-mortem examination concluded that he had died from a stab wound to the chest.

Today, at Luton Crown Court Mr Brunner’s case was adjourned.

A plea and case management hearing has been scheduled for June 16 and Mr Brunner has been remanded in custody.
