Man rushed to hospital after hammering incident in Bedford

A man has been taken to hospital after a hammering incident left a piece of metal in his hand in an industrial estate on Woburn Road, Bedford.

The East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust (EEAST) received a call today (July 28) at 10.58am and sent a rapid response vehicle to assist.

At the scene the man, believed to be in his 30s, was treated for his hand injury before being taken to Bedford Hospital for further care, his injury and condition are not thought to be serious or life-threatening.
