Man is charged following robbery but witnesses are still being sought

A man has been charged following a robbery in Kempston.

Ellis Drummond, 23, of Paulsons Close, Riseley, was charged with robbery after an incident in Emmerton Road on Friday, 17 April.

Police are continuing to seek information and are keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident which is believed to have happened between 9am and 9.45am.

Det Con Surinder Ram said: “In particular we’re looking to identify a man seen in the area at the time. He is described as black, well built, aged approximately 22, with a gold tooth, and was wearing blue jeans and a blue jumper.”
