Man arrested and cannabis seized following drugs raid in Flitwick
Intelligence led operation sees results
A man has been arrested following a drugs raid in Flitwick this week.
Beds Police raided a house in Chauntry Way on Monday morning (February 1) and found between 100 and 150 cannabis wraps.
The man was arrested on suspicion with intent to supply drugs.
He was questioned by police and released on bail until Monday, April 5.
Sgt Steve Gorman said: "This operation sends out a clear message that drugs, and the cultivation of drugs, will not be tolerated in Beds.
"Beds Police is committed to the fight against drugs and those involved in producing, selling or using them can expect to find us knocking at their door."
"We would like to thank members of the public for the information which allowed this operation to be such a success and we would continue to urge the public to support the police in the fight against illegal substances and would ask them to contact officers with any suspicions they may have."
Clues that a property may be used for the cultivation of cannabis include permanently drawn curtains or blinds, strong smells and different people visiting.
Anyone with information about drugs can Beds Police on 01234 841212, or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.
