A man was flown to hospital with serious head and neck injuries after a car flipped over landing on its roof.

Another man, who had to be cut from his vehicle by firefighters, was also taken to hospital by land ambulance with serious leg injuries following the accident along the A6 near Wilstead just after 1.30pm on Bank Holiday Monday.

Both men were taken to Addenbrookes Hospital following the smash which involved two vehicles.

Two ambulances, a hazardous area response team vehicle, two ambulance officers and a rapid response vehicle attended, alongside the East Anglian Air Ambulance and the Magpas rapid response vehicle attended the incident.
