Woman airlifted to hospital after fall
A woman has been flown to a specialist trauma centre after she fell from a horse earlier this morning (Thursday).
The East of England Ambulance Service (EEAST) was alerted to the Ampthill Road in Silsoe at 11.57am.
Ambulance crews from Kempston and the East Anglian Air Ambulance (EAAA) attended the scene.
Ambulance service spokesman Gary Sanderson said: “The woman was in and out of consciousness on our arrival. She was treated and stabilised at the scene by the Kempston ambulance crew and the critical care team from the East Anglian Air Ambulance before she was flown direct to Addenbrookes Hospital in Cambridgeshire for further care.”
