Winner's name will inspire students

A school has honoured a former student by naming a new building after him.'¨Olympic Gold Medal-winning canoeist Etienne Stott returned to Biddenham International School and Sports College to officially open the first purpose-built Year 7 and 8 unit built in Bedfordshire. Head teacher David Bailey said: 'Everyone was thrilled when Etienne agreed we could name the new building in his honour as he is without doubt one of the most exceptional students to have attended our school.
