Web advice is in place to help Bedfordshire residents stay safe during this current spell of ice and snow.

The Bedfordshire and Luton Local Resilience Forum is urging all local residents and businesses alike to check they are prepared for snow and to look out for their neighbours.

Local Policing Chief Superintendent Mike Colbourne, Chairman of the Bedfordshire and Luton Local Resilience Forum, said; “I would urge the people of Bedfordshire to take precautionary measures to make sure that they are prepared for severe weather conditions. By visiting the Bedfordshire and Luton Local Resilience Forum website they can keep up to date with the latest advice and news.”

The What Would You Do If website provides advice on issues including winter-proofing your home, preparing for severe weather, flooding, travelling in winter, the flu virus and how people can support the more vulnerable members of the community.
