Staff, pupils, governors and parents at a Sharnbrook pre-school are celebrating being awarded an ‘outstanding’ Ofsted inspection.
The Sharnbrook John Gibbard Pre-School was judged to be outstanding in three early years categories.
The Oftsed inspector said: “Teaching techniques are exemplary as all practioners have an excellent knowledge of the curriculum and use their meticulous assessments of children to plan activities for all children. Teachers are exceptionally skilled and committed to providing a positive and highly stimulating environment. Children are secure, happy and extremely motivated and parents are fully involved in working with practitioners to promote the learning and development of their child.”
The school was assigned outstanding in three early years categories, how well the early years provision meets the needs of the range of children who attend, the contribution of the early years provision to the well-being of children and the effectiveness of the leadership and management of the early years provision.
Head teacher Sheila Kaznowski said: “We are all delighted with this Ofsted report. It reflects the hard work and dedication of the early years team and governing body over the last few years. Parents and pupils have expressed their thanks and praise to the staff.”
Chairwoman of the school govenors Mrs Carr-Archer said: ”We are very proud that the staff’s dedication, creativity and skills have been recognised in such a positive report.”
