VIDEO: Bytesize Borough - Abi from Sports Traider

Waiting for Video...

In the latest in our Bytesize Borough features we meet 21-year-old Abi Lock.

Abi is a joint manager at the Sports Traider store in Silver Street.

In our video with Abi she tells us how she loves working with the community in Bedford, and how working at the store makes her feel proud to have lived here all her life.

Abi, who has worked at Sports Traider for a year, also praises the town’s facilities including shops and the cinema.

Sports Traider is a charity set up by Lance Haggith which offers youngsters the kit and skills they need to get in to sport.

The charity also actively encourages young people to come and work in store providing all the training that they need to excel in retail too.

Abi said: “There are many things that we do for the community, because we are a charity ourselves, and we work with other charities to help people get in to sports.”
