A bike has been stolen from a communal shed in a back garden in Crowe Road, Bedford.

The bicycle, a black Bilbao Vertigo bike worth £100 was stolen on Tuesday night (May 13) after the owner had left it locked in the shed at 5pm.

It has some distinctive modifications such as a speedometer and high, narrow handlebars and is marked with the initials SB and a Bedford phone number in ultraviolet pen.

Its owner is very keen to get the bike back – if you have information on where the bike is or who’s got it, please help the owner get it back by calling the non-emergency 24 hour police number 101 and ask for Jamie Lowings at the Crime Bureau.

Alternatively, call independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555111. You do not have to give your name and no-one will know you called.
