A mum of five from Flitwick has opened a tanning salon in Ampthill to complement the popular adult beauty treatments and hairdressing services in the town.

Vanessa Walsh has launched her new salon, called Vanity, at 5 Kings Arms Yard, and welcomes new clients to join her ever-growing customer base.

Vanessa said: “Apart from providing a real feelgood factor with a quick blast of vitamin D, the benefits of UV tanning include improving some skin conditions such as psoriasis, eczema and acne and the soothing of muscular aches and pains associated with injury, and arthritis.

“Our trained staff will provide expert advice on creating your own personal tanning programme offering courses or pay as you go sessions.

“So if you want to achieve a base tan for your holiday or are simply stuck in an office but want a healthy glow, Vanity provides a friendly non- appointment service that will leave you looking and feeling healthier.

“Our two tanning towers have built-in changing cubicles and are hygeinic, quick and easy to use, meaning you can achieve a seamless all over tan by short visits to our salon in your lunch hour, or with our late evening opening times on your way home from work.

“We also have a large selection of accelerator tanning creams for sale that complement and enhance your tanning sessions and have recently introduced healthy Aloe Vera orange drink shots that increase your tanning colour.”
