A man indecently exposed himself to a woman as she walked past his van in Castle Road, Bedford.

The incident happened at around 4.45am on Thursday, July 3, when the 35 year old female victim was walking along the road.

The offender – who was sitting in a silver Ford Transit van – asked the woman for directions and as she explained the best route she noticed that he

had exposed himself and was committing an indecent act. The victim ran away and the offender then drove off.

The man is described as being a white man, in his early 20s, of skinny build and wearing a black fleece and blue jeans.

PC Keeley Moth, who is investigating the incident, is keen to speak with anyone who may have seen the offender in his vehicle prior to the incident or may have information about who he is.

PC Moth said: “This was a very upsetting incident for the victim and it is important that we locate this individual as quickly as possible to stop him from causing any more offences.

“I’d urge anyone who may have information to get in touch as soon as possible. Even the smallest pieces of information could help us with our inquiries.”
