People stepped back in time to visit a special First World War event at Wrest Park.

The event Wrest at War took place throughout the weekend, and the rain on Saturday did not stop visitors flocking to the site.

The Silsoe-based historic park had displays of ambulance crews, a camel on show and theatrical groups putting on various shows throughout the day.

Visitors could also sit behind a machine gun from the First World War, and a mini assault course for children was also on offer.

The weekend was part of a series of Time Traveller events being out on at Wrest Park this month.
