Tribute act to entertain for charity

A charity cyclist is encouraging people to attend a fundraising event to her her raise money for a cancer charity.

Mimma Card is planning on cycling from London to Paris on September 19 to raise money for the Children’s Cancer and Leukaemia Group.

To help her raise money, she is holding a charity night at new wine var the Auction Room in Duke Street on Saturday (September 1) with a Robbie Williams, Michael Buble and Elwood Blues Tribute Show,

It is running from 7.30pm until midnight and there is going to be an auction, raffle and disco on the night.

Tickets are £10 and are available from Mimma or behind the bar at The Ship in St Cuthberts Street.

Mimma said: “It’s going to be a great night. We have kindly been given The Auction Room free of charge. I want to raise as much money as I can.”
