Two 18-year-olds from Bedford have appeared in court charged with offences related to a serious stabbing at a barn party in the remote hamlet of Begwary, near Colmworth.
Bailey Bowen, of Brickhill Drive, is accused of attempting to murder Reece Bell, 23, at the barn in Begwary.
He and Liam Daniels, of Swale Path, Brickhill, appeared at Luton Crown Court via a video link to Bedford prison where they are on remand.
Daniels is charged with inflicting grievous bodily harm with intent on another party goer, Justin Newman.
Neither of them entered any pleas to the charges. That will be done when they are next before the court on January 20.
Their trial is expected to begin on April 7 next year at St Albans Crown Court and last about three weeks.
Three men in their early 20s were critically injured at the event and kept in hospital. A fourth man was also hurt.
About 200 people congregated at the barn on October 13 after the event had been advertised on social media sites.
Judge Richard Foster remanded the pair in custody.
