A 16 year old boy was assaulted and robbed in Goldington by three attackers.
and had his mobile phone stolen during a robbery
Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident, which happened in the early hours of Saturday morning. The attackers stole the boy’s mobile phone and a bag.
The incident took place at around 2.45am as the victim was walking along The Spinney towards Windmill Close.
He was approached by three offenders who attacked the youngster by punching him to the head and face before searching his pockets and stealing his mobile phone along with a bag that he was carrying.
The offenders then fled towards Elliott Crescent and the victim returned home before being taken to hospital for treatment.
Detective Constable Surinder Ram, who is investigating the incident, is keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the attack or may have information about the offenders.
The first offender was a white male, 18 or 19 years old, around six feet one inch tall, of slim build and wearing a white t-shirt.
The second offender was described as being of mixed race, 14 or 15 years old, around five feet ten inches tall and wearing a red and black hooded top and baseball cap.
The third offender was white, 14 or 15 years old, around six feet tall, of small build and wearing a dark blue hooded top and baseball cap.
