A motorcycle shop in Bedford is hosting a special event tomorrow, Saturday, January 4, to welcome a 14-year-old up and coming rider they are sponsoring.
Craven Motorcycles, in Alexandria Road, will be welcoming Louis Valleley and his team Cresswell Racing, based in Derbyshire, to the shop where visitors can meet and talk to them.
Jason Craven, who has been running the shop for five years, said the teenage British Superbikes rider has a real future ahead of him.
Louis is from Maidstone but has family in Bedford, and he has been signed up by Cresswell, with partnership support from Craven Motorcycles.
Jason said: “Louis is a future star and he has been doing very well.”
Race venues have included Silverstone and Brands Hatch for the young rider, who will go up to SuperStocks 600cc level when he is 17.
Bike clubs and motorcycle enthusiasts are expected to visit the store tomorrow when Louis and his team will show his ex-championship bike, a Ktm RC 125.
Family run Craven Motorcycles service and repair all motorcycles and scooters, and specialise in restoring classic bikes, among a range of services.
The shop sells new scooters and road bikes and also offers a collection service, used motorcycle sales, discount for students and named motorcycle clubs. It also sells a wide range of consumables including helmets and clothing, tools and workshop machinery, and supplies genuine and aftermarket new parts for all motorcycles and scooters.
