SUPERHEROES took over a town centre on Friday to raise money for Children’s Hospice Week.
Ampthill-based Bonfire Creative Intelligence has brought together business ‘superheroes’ in the town to raise money for Keech Hospice Care, the company’s nominated charity this year.
Superhero Friday is held annually as part of Children’s Hospice Week to raise money.
Nearly 20 and businesses took part in the event by collecting money, and many of them joined in the fun by dressing up as superheroes. Ampthill’s fancy dress shop, Limelight has helped out by giving people a discount on costume hire.
Corporate fundraiser at Keech Hospice Care, Maggie Doust said: “ This is a great, fun way for people to get involved and help us continue the vital work here at the Hospice and within the local community.
“Thank you to Bonfire Creative and all the businesses involved for their enthusiasm and support.”
