Store set to move Next door today

Forty new jobs have been created as clothes store Next moves to a bigger premises.

The Next store at Bedford Interchange Retail Park, is set to relocate to a bigger and better unit, just yards away from its previous base, today (Thursday).

The current store located in unit F has been closed since Sunday, September 23, and the new Next will be opening just a few yards away in unit L.

Standing at 18,477 sq ft, the new store will have all the same elements as the previous Next but on a larger scale.

And the move has led to 40 new jobs being created.

The womenswear and  childrenswear departments will almost double in size, with menswear and home also in a larger space.

And new additions to the store include a petite section for women and a shoe room with a wide selection of women’s footwear.

The new store will open seven days a week - 9am-8pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, 9am-8.30pm on Thursday, 9am-7pm on Saturdays and 10am-6pm every Sunday.
