Shaylers asks to extend

editorial image

Controversial lapdancing club Shaylers has applied to extend its opening hours to 4am.

The club, that has been met with huge opposition since it opened in November, has now submitted an application to Cental Beds Council requesting permission to open until 4am, with alcohol being sold until 3.30am. It is also asking for permission to carry out sex entertainment activities until that time.

John Shayler, who owns the club, opened despite the majority of the town being against his plan.

People now have until February 12 to object to the application. You can write to the licensing committee in Dunstable to do so.
