Seaside treat for deserving youngsters

editorial image

THIS group of youngsters spent a day at the seaside this month with their families, when they were treated to a day out by rail bosses from First Capital Connect.

After being waved off by Bedford and Kempston MP, the group headed to the south coast, and enjoyed on-board entertainment including a clown, face-painters and a magician.

The youngsters were chosen by Bedford Borough Council’s children with disabilities team, and many attend Foxgloves Children’s Home and Sunflower House.
