Village pub reopens

The Bell in Edlesborough has reopened under new management.

The pub closed on Sunday, January 24, after being sold by its former owners Punch Taverns.

It reopened on Sunday, January 31. But the new owner still wants to remain anonymous, according to manager Lee Morgan.

He said: "The Bell will continue to run as a pub. I'm not aware of any changes in the future."

The former landlord and landlady moved out only two months after taking over, following the news of the sale.

Last month regulars at the pub said they feared they might have had their final pint at the village watering hole.
