A reward is being offered for the safe return of precious video material lost by a family on Bedford’s Embankment at the weekend.

Paul Atkins was with his wife and young daughter on Sunday afternoon when they dropped a video camera SD card containing family footage.

Paul said: “I hope this appeal will be able to help my wife and I as we are devastated.

“We went for a walk on Sunday afternoon down the Embankment and it appears that we have dropped a video camera SD card which contains our daughter Sophie’s first Christmas footage and also her crawling for the first time along with other memories.

“It would have been between about 4pm - 5.30pm on Sunday, July 6.

“We’ve searched five times down the Embankment and have not come across it so all we can assume is that someone has picked it up.

“We really would like to get this back and are willing to put forward a cash reward of £200 for its safe return.”

If you can help locate the card, call Paul on 07956 847941, or alternatively email us at editorial@timesandcitizen.co.uk with any information.
