Putting the brakes on bus lane

Changes to ease traffic congestion

Two sections of bus lane will permanently close in High Street North, Dunstable, to help ease congestion in the town.

The order will come into force on Sunday, March 14 and will see the two sections of bus lane in High Street North removed between Winfield Street and Queensway, to allow traffic to use the whole width of the carriageway.

There were no objections to the changes during the Highways Agency's public consultation with the bus firm and the town council.
