Children In Need mascot Pudsey Bear visited pupils throughout Central Beds this week.

People up and down the country will be raising money for Children In Need tomorrow, which helps disadvantaged youngsters in the UK and abroad.

And in the run-up to the big fundraising day Ampthill and District Round Table, which organises community events, visited schools in Mid Beds to raise money.

Pudsey Bear and the team visited Pulloxhill Lower School on Tuesday morning.

AThey then visited both Maulden Lower School and Greenfield Lower School on Thursday between 9am and 11am.

This was followed by a stint with collection buckets at Flitwick Railway Station between 6.30am and 9am on Friday.

And this morning they are at Merry Poppets Nursery in Flitwick at 9.30am, , which will be followed by bucket collections in Flitwick and Ampthill all day.

Round Table nationally raised in excess of £150,000 for Children In Need last year, which it hopes to bear this year.
