Priory Methodist Church hands over £7,500 to help victims in Zimbabwe

A cheque for nearly £7,500 was presented to the Zimbabwe Victims’ Support Fund at Priory Methodist Church, Bedford, during Sunday morning worship.

Following a year of fundraising events the Rev. Glayne Worgan, Minister at Priory, handed the money over to Rev. David Winwood, chair of the trustees of the fund.

He expressed sincere thanks to the Priory Project Team which has been responsible for the programme of events, including his wife Wilma, Karen Gaunt, Sue Gordon, Elaine and Les Leach, Eileen Davis and Phil Barlow, and he warmly thanked the Priory congregation for their generosity.
