Bedfordshire Police have released CCTV images of two people that they would like to speak with following two separate thefts at Maplins in St Johns Street, Bedford.

The first incident happened on Monday April 14 at 2.55pm when the offender – a black man, 5ft 8in tall, wearing blue jeans, black jacket and sunglasses – entered the store, selected three computer hard drives and put them down his trousers before walking out of the store without making any attempt to pay for the items which were worth £425.

A second incident took place on Tuesday April 15 at 7.45pm when the female offender – a white woman with an Eastern European or Russian accent – entered the store with two men and another woman. The group split up and as the two men distracted a member of staff, the offender picked up a CCTV kit and put it up her skirt before leaving the store without paying.
