Police are hunting a man who flashed at a group of young girls in Bedford.

They are appealing to a group of mums who were in the Kershope Close area of Elms Farm on Sunday, December 1 to contact them.

The group were spotted standing with pushchairs and small children between 3pm and 4pm by two young girls who had been flashed at by a man.

The 11 and 7-year-old girls ran from the scene and it is possible that the group of women may have noticed the offender in the area prior to the offence.

The offender is described as a man with a large build, approximately 35 years old, wearing a black hat, dark trousers, a black and white striped top and a black jacket.

PC Keeley Moth, investigating, is keen to trace the women as they may have vital information that could help identify the man responsible.

Anyone with information relating to this investigation can contact PC Moth, in confidence, on 01234 858118, Bedfordshire Police on 101, or text information to 07786 200011.

Alternatively, contact the independent crime fighting charity Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
