Police are hunting for a man who exposed himself to a woman in Bedford Park.

Witnesses are being asked to come forward after a man indecently exposing himself in public on Saturday, June 28.

The incident happened at approximately 8am on a footpath between Robinson Pool and the children’s play, close to the car park on Foster Hill Road.

As the 45-year-old victim walked her dog and followed the path, which runs past the cricket pavilion on Bedford Park, she spotted a man in the bushes who was exposing himself and committing an indecent act.

The victim shouted at the man and he walked off towards Foster Hill Road.

The man is described as being of Asian appearance, in his late 40s to early 50s, 5’7” tall with a slim to medium build and a pot belly. He had short black hair that was slightly greasy and unkempt. He wore a long sleeved grey shirt with buttons up the front, navy chino style trousers and dark shoes.

PC Lauren Holt, investigating, is keen to trace anyone who witnessed the incident or anyone who has been subjected to similar behaviour recently.

PC Holt said: “This person’s behaviour is a concern and we need to speak to anyone who can help identify him so we can ensure this is stopped.”

Anyone with information relating to this crime can contact PC Holt, in confidence, at Bedfordshire Police on 101, or text information to 07786 200011.
