Prince Charles arrived in Bedford this morning by helicopter.
HRH Prince of Wales landed in Russell Park around 10am and, alongside Bedfordshire Lord Lieutenant Helen Nellis, took the time to chat to a few visitors.
He then headed by car down The Embankment to his first engagement at Higgins: Bedford.
There he met numerous local dignitaries including High Sheriff Deborah Inskip, Mayor of Bedford Dave Hodgson, Chief Constable Colette Paul and Bedford and Kempston MP Richard Fuller.
He then made the short walk across St Paul’s Square, meeting the crowds, before visitin the Christmas Tree Festival in St Paul’s Church.
Thanks go to Graham Watson, photographer at WE CAN Creative, for these pictures of the Prince’s arrival.
