Paralympic flame comes to Kempston

AS the Paralympic Games fast approaches Sainsbury’s in Kempston is playing a key role in the historic event.

On August 14 the Paralympic torch will visit the store as part of a programme of activities in the run up to the games.

From 10.30am there will be a whole host of events including a dog agility course, a blind football and sitting volleyball tournament and lots of goodies and prizes to give away.

There will also be a special visit from Paralympic ambassador and gold medal winning swimmer Claire Cunningham.

All money raised will go to support the Canine Partners charity.
