Nuisance neighbour given ASBO

Woman made neighbours' lives 'a misery'.

A five-year Anti-Social Behaviour Order (ASBO) has been imposed on a Biggleswade woman.

Bedford Magistrates Court imposed the ASBO against Donna Webster of Brunel Drive in Biggleswade on Thursday, July 22.

The court heard that over six months Webster regularly played extremely loud music at unsociable hours and when challenged became abusive, behaving in a threatening and intimidating manner to other residents of Brunel Drive.

She also allowed her two dogs unrestrained in the children's play area and failed to clear up after them.

After the case Safer Neighbourhood officer, Ian Wilson, said he hoped the order would help Webster moderate her behaviour. However, he urged anyone who sees her in breach of the ASBO to get in touch.

He said: "We regard ASBOs as a last resort. However, despite constant warnings, this womans behaviour continued to make the lives of local residents a misery."

Anyone who sees Webster in breach of her ASBO can contact PC Wilson, in confidence, on 01234 272549, the main switchboard on 01234 841212 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
