A New Year baby bought joy for one couple who had their second child on the first day of the year.
Rebecca Nseka, 23 and her fiance Aleksandar Petricevic, 23, of College Street, Bedford, had their son Stefan at 9.49am on January 1.
Stefan was delivered through Cesarian section, weighing 6lb 10oz.
Rebecca said: “We’re really happy to have a New Year’s baby. The team have all been really great here, they’ve really looked after us.”
And Aleksandar added: “January 1 is a really special date for us because we got engaged on the first last year, it’s a very happy day for us.”
