A new vicar is to be installed at St Paul’s Bedford at a special service.
The Rev Kevin Goss, a professionally trained musician who taught for many years before entering the ministry, has moved from All Saints’ Bishop’s Stortford.
Father Kevin said he is looking forward to: “Firstly working in a larger church, with a great musical and liturgical tradition and the people and opportunities to develop it. Secondly I love being a parish priest. St Paul’s central location and its civic, town and county role, with the vicar’s other two roles as parish priest and pastor to the congregation, bring together my previous parish and cathedral ministry.”
While at Canterbury Cathedral one of his highlights was arranging the services for the enthronement of Dr Rowan Williams as Archbishop of Canterbury. Father Kevin relaxes painting watercolours, going to the theatre, and hill walking. The service is at 7.30pm on Thursday July 10.
