New digital kiosks unveiled at new-look restaurant
Mayor of Bedford Dave Hodgson attended the unveiling of the new look McDonald's restaurant at Aspects Leisure Park.
The restaurant has new digital kiosks where the menu can be browsed and food ordered, and customers have the option of delivery direct to the table. There are still counters for ordering, and at the tables there are free to use tablets.
Franchisee Ismail Anilmis, who runs 10 restaurants in the region including the one at Aspects, is pictured with Mr Hodgson and staff. He said: “Staying ahead of customer expectations is vital and the new technology we’ve introduced in this restaurant recognises the way people live their lives today. We’re thrilled to be offering our customers a more personalised experience as part of this.”
