Nadine in the jungle - Episode 2

editorial image

Nadine’s second episode in I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here was broadcast last night. What was your verdict?

Ms Dorries, MP for Mid Beds, was one of the contestants in the first bushtucker trial. The Conservative politician was locked in an underground coffin that had bugs pumped into it from all sides, and was challenged to last ten minutes in the box in order to win food for her team.

But with a cry of “I’m a celebrity, get me out of here!” she had to give up at the halfway mark, leaving the team on basic rations of rice and beans.

Nadine claimed that she gave up after thinking she had been bitten by a rat. But she did last longer than her opponent Helen Flanagan, aka Rosie Webster from Coronation Street.

But Nadine will have a chance to make amends, as tonight’s episode will show her in a second Bushtucker Trial.

Also last night, London Mayor Boris Johnson supported Nadine on The Agenda, a Channel 4 news programme. Nadine stated before her departure for Australia that she would use the programme to put forward her opinions on abortion and on why Boris would be the best candidate to be leader of the Conservative Party.

The Times & Citizen team will be Tweeting during this evening’s show so follow @misshoktc and @CatherineVarney
